Yoga Levels I & II


Kripalu-based Hatha yoga for beginner and intermediate students. Classes include conscious breathwork (pranayama), postures (asanas), breath synchronized movement (Vinyasa), relaxation and meditation. 1.25 hours

Space is limited. Pre-registration is highly suggested. Ongoing registration is accepted. Please call 203-210-5780. $120.00 for 8-week session. $20.00 drop-in fee, please call ahead to reserve a spot.

Private Yoga Class


A yoga class designed specifically with your needs in mind. Come to our relaxing studio space or let us come to you, whatever works best for your schedule. Reduce stress, build strength, increase flexibility, learn ways to manage the stress and challenges in your body, your mind and your life. Great alone or with a friend or significant other. A great gift idea for someone you care about. Cost is $90.00* in The Studio for 1.25 hours
* For up to three people.

 

Yoga for Seniors


Gentle Yoga that warms up all the joints of the body, stretches and strengthens your muscles and helps your balance and focus. Leave class feeling refreshed and alive! 1 hour

Corporate Yoga


Let us come to you! On site yoga classes designed to reduce stress and fatigue and increase focus and productivity. Take a little time out of your busy work day (lunch or right after work) to revitalize and refresh, return to work or go home feeling ready to tackle the rest of your day. Gentle Yoga


A compassionate yoga class designed to help tune into your own body and stretch and move in the way that feels right for your body in the moment. Classes include breathwork (pranayama), yoga postures (asanas), relaxation and meditation. 1 hour

Yoga for Teens


This yoga class is designed for new and experienced teens. Wear workout apparel or comfortable clothing that’s easy to move in and come prepared to relax and re-energize. Erase fatigue and generate energy. Improve posture and feel better about yourself. Classes follow the school calendar for vacations/holidays/snow cancelations and run October through May. This program is broken up into 3 sessions: Fall (11/2-12/21), Winter (1/4-3/22) & Spring (3/29-6/14). Stress Reduction


Are you looking for a way to help manage the pain and stress in your life? Do you have pain in your body that never seems to go away? Do you ever wake up with a crick in your neck and then spend days unable to fully turn your head? Would you like to learn a few simple techniques that may help you relieve some of the pain and stress in your life? Then come join Denise O’Hearn as she demonstrates a few easy to learn self-help techniques. 1 hour

Fees and Policies


For the evening studio classes only. Space is limited. Pre-registration is highly recommended. Ongoing registration is accepted. To offer some flexibility, if you know that you will be away during a certain time before you sign up for the session, you may deduct these days (up to 2 classes) if you let me know which dates you won’t be in class. Also, if you know in advance (at least by 10:00 AM the morning of the class) that you will be absent and there is availability, you can switch from the Monday class to the Wednesday class, or vice versa. Drop-ins are welcomed on a space available basis, please call or email ahead to reserve a spot. Doors open 15 minutes before class begins.

Please note that all sales are final. Exceptions will be considered in special situations (good for credit only, tranferrals may be accepted).

What to Wear and Bring


Wear comfortable, non binding clothing. No perfume, please! It inhibits the breathwork and some people are allergic. Turn off your cell phones, or leave them in the car. Bring a mat and blanket or towel if you have one (there are extras at the Studio). Please be on time for class.

If you are coming to the Studio for evening classes, enter through the "Office" door next to the garage and sign in. Leave your shoes, coat and extra items and enter the studio quietly, respecting others who want to meditate before class.
